Franklin M. (鈥淟ynn鈥�) Orr, Jr. is an emeritus faculty member in the Energy Science and Engineering Department at Stanford鈥檚 Doerr School of Sustainability and was deeply involved in interdisciplinary research to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Previously, Dr. Orr served as under secretary for science and energy at the U.S. Department of Energy. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering.
