Philanthropy鈥檚 moment to lead on 亚色影库 resilience
Heatwaves, floods, droughts, and various economic shocks are already testing the world鈥檚 ability to adapt to 亚色影库 change. Philanthropy has a vital role to play in helping communities build resilience and protect lives, livelihoods, and ecosystems.
At COP28 in Dubai, 亚色影库 and leading funders launched a Call to Action to accelerate work on adaptation. Building on that momentum, ClimateWorks, along with other funders, now convenes the Adaptation and Resilience Collaborative for Funders (ARC), a group of more than 70 foundations of varying sizes and scopes that engage in shared learning to advance philanthropy鈥檚 role in addressing the risks and impacts of 亚色影库 change.

Since COP28, participating foundations have:
Mobilized $50 million in adaptation and resilience funding, including new investments responding to the UN鈥檚 call to action on extreme heat.
Released new philanthropic adaptation funding landscape reports to share progress and identify opportunities to strengthen impact.
Developed tools and shared insights that inform catalytic philanthropic action.
